Theme: Anything Goes Quotes

*family-friendly  *nothing crude or risqué

*humorous; a bit snarky is okay

*song lyrics/titles  *movie character lines

*Bible and other book quotes (including poetry; dictionary definitions)

*sayings by celebrities, historical figures, coaches and other folks

*if the credit/attribution isn't shown on your project, it should be given in your blog post

at 1:00 pm central time Chicago (or 7:00 pm UK)

and it will end on JULY 20, 2026 at 1:00 pm central time Chicago!!!

Most of my challenge blogs are now expanding to 6-7 week long challenge sessions.

credit: quotation is by Dolly Parton

and

DT member Deanne:

credit: quote is untraceable to a single author; 

popularized in the late 1800s into the mid-1900s from gambling and card games; then

picked up by aviators; and on to a song in 1926 + movie song in 1943....  

and

DT/owner Becca S:

credits: the "Sing Your Own Song..." sticker quote is a song written in 1998 by Zina Goldrich and Marcy Heisler. 

The music phrase was cut apart into measure length sections and is "Your Song" written in 1969 by Elton John and Bernie Taupin.

The 2 other stickers were checked online for any credit information but neither were found.

credits: the lighthouse stickers' sentences are paraphrased from Psalms 27:1, Psalms 119:105 & John 8:12.
